The Schoolroom is well used throughout the week mixed between our own usage and community groups. We also venture outside of our own four walls and into the community!
Children & Young People
10.53 is for 7 to 11 year olds and is held in the Church Schoolroom from 5.30 to 7.00pm every Monday during term time.
Rhyme & Rhythm is a Mother & Toddler group held on a Wednesday morning at 10.15am during term time, there are a variety of co-ordinated activities arranged for the toddlers.
Sunday Club is an ecumenical event encouraging youngsters from all the local churches and from the community in general to meet with us on the second Sunday of every month (except August) from 10.30am to 12 Noon. Age group is not strict though we are more geared up for the 5-12 year old age range.
YOrS Drop In Youth Club for Teenagers, an ecumenical event with volunteers from local churches held every Friday evening from 7pm - 9pm at the Youth Centre on Windermere Way (Next to the Stourport High School Games Field). 50p Admission, organised games, Pool, Table Tennis, Scooter Ramps and regular external trips (Snowdome, Go-Karting, Paintballing etc.). Also offering practical advice for teenagers on topics such as the transition from school to the job market.
YOrS Tent in the Park An ecumenical event held monthly at the Riverside Park in Stourport, meeting with young people, offering Hot Drinks and Donuts served free of charge.
Senior Citizens Groups
Seniors Lunch Club Normally held on the last Thursday of every month in the Schoolroom. Two course meal, accompanied by tea and coffee for just £2.50 per person (Example Meal - Roast Pork and stuffing with Roast Potatoes and Fresh Seasonal Vegetables followed by Home-Made Jam Sponge Pudding and Custard)
Autumn Sunshine follows the Lunch Club from 2pm in the Schoolroom to chat, play darts, jigsaws, board games etc.
Tuesday @ 2 meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, for discussions, chat and singing
